We are an individual monitoring service approved by the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK). The dosimetric service is conducted in a testing laboratory (T179) accredited by the Centre for Metrology and Accreditation.

Approved Service
Doseco is a dosimetric service approved by the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK).
An approved dosimetric service refers to an operational unit or service provider that is responsible for personal radiation dose measurement and assessment of its employees as part of their workers’ radiation exposure monitoring programme, and which is approved by the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority as is stated in the Radiation Safety Act, section 60 (Dec 15, 2018/859).
Approval requires that we report the doses we measure to STUK so that they may be registered to a dose database. STUK controls our operation, for example, by conducting blind tests and other controlling measures.
Accreditation
The Finnish Accreditation Service (FINAS) has found our operation to be in accordance with the standard IEC 17025, thus accrediting our dosimetric service (T179). The accreditation is valid for:
Personal dose equivalent for external radiation Hp(10) and Hp(0.07). Photon radiation energy range 0.02-1.3MeV and dose range 0.1mSv-1.0Sv.
Personal dose equivalent for external radiation Hp(0.07). Beta radiation energy range 0.8-2.3MeV and dose range 0.1mSv-1.0Sv.
